Please Note from the 1st October 2024 there will be the following changes to consultation fees.
Medicare patients with a full pension card and under 16 years old will continue to be bulk-billed for Face-to- Face consultations and will also be bulk-billed for Telephone health consultations provided they have attended the clinic for a Face-to-Face appointment in the last 12 months.
Medicare patients who do not hold a full pension card and are over 16 years old will be required to pay for their Face-to-Face & Telephone health consultations IN FULL.
Please note that we will no longer take gap payments

This is a more effective and prompt method for patients scripts.
Scripts
We will need at least 24 hours notice for a script via Telephone Health consultation.
Full Pension Card Holders – Bulk Billed
Non - Pension Card Holders - $62.85 Medicare Rebate $42.85
Urgent Scripts & Telephone Health Appointments
There will be a charge for any urgent scripts or telephone health appointments that are required with less than 24 hours notice.

Non -Pension Card Holders - $82.85 Medicare Rebate $42.85
Payment for Telephone Health Appointments
Full payment for your Telephone Health consultation will be taken over the phone where possible and Medicare rebates will be paid directly into your bank account when the account is paid in full.
Any outstanding amounts owing must be paid in full before you can book your next appointment.
Telephone and video consults
The surgery has been offering Video calls or telephone consults to patients since 2021, but only a few patients take us up on this.
The rules have recently changed and some item numbers are no longer available. Please check this out with reception.
SKIN CHECK
As it is almost summer it is time to book a skin check. Phone the surgery for a booking to make your yearly booking.
Our Doctors stress the importance of this service as a protection against skin cancers.
Our practice is currently offering a Free yearly Health Assessment to all patients over the age of 75. Please call the surgery to book an appointment.
HEART HEALTH CHECK
If you are over 45 years old and have
not had a heart attack or stroke it is
recommended you have a heart health check. Please call the Surgery to book an appointment.
CANCER COUNCIL BOWEL CANCER SCREENING CAMPAIGN
There is currently a national wide campaign targeting the 50-74 year old age group. We recommend patients to complete the test which will be mailed out.
Covid is still present. Please call the surgery for an appointment for a vaccination if you are over 65 years old.
The following groups should have the latest covid vaccine
ALL adults aged 65 years to 75 years of age should have a vaccination every 12 months.
Over 75 years of age should be vaccinated every 6 months.
Adults aged 18-64 years who have medical comorbidities that increase their risk of severe COVID-19, or disability with significant or complex health needs.
Children and adolescents aged 5-17 years who have medical comorbidities that increase their risk of severe COVID-19, or disability with significant or complex health needs
The surgery will be covid dispensing vaccines
